OUR STORY

Nick with Customers.jpg

Established in 2011 on Lakeshore Drive, Nolan’s was forced to relocate to South Main Street in 2014. After a devastating fire in 2017, Nolan’s rebuilt the current structure in 2018 and opened as a pillar in our community.

Nick Violas is the man behind Nolan’s. He opened the restaurant in 2011 as a side project to his full-time career as a school counselor and high school football coach. His passion for quality food and customer service created a dining experience beloved in the local community and beyond. Nick’s commitment to service sets the “above and beyond” standard for the rest of his staff. It’s a level of hospitality customers have come to expect, whether they’re dining in the restaurant or at a catered event at Canandaigua Country Club.

RESTAURANT REVIEWS

See what people have to say about their experience at Nolan’s.

“Great food and great service.”

“We stopped in for a very late dinner. The service was outstanding. Staff were very friendly and accommodating. The food was excellent. Highly suggest the Bacon Wrapped Scallops as an appetizer. They were to die for! There were 3 of us for dinner and not one of us had an issue with anything on our plates. My scallops were great. The sweet potato wedges were done just right. Would highly suggest a stop in at Nolan’s.”

“Never disappointed.”

“We’ve been to this restaurant several times since we’ve moved to the area. The wait staff is welcoming, cordial and knowledgeable about the menu items; the atmosphere is pleasant and the food is delicious. A must-go-to place when in the area. Even in the off season they seem to be busy.”

“Great selection of Finger Lakes wines.”

“Nolan’s is a perfect place that is half way for my brother and me. Reservations are clearly recommended, but we arrived a little early to have a drink at the bar before being seated. If you enjoy wine, Nolan’s has a great selection of Finger Lakes wines—we’re partial to riesling. All four of us had something different, but there was not a mediocre selection among them. In particular watch for their specials because my wife raved about the short ribs with mac and cheese. Nolan’s is great value for the money. The service is friendly and engaging with servers knowledgeable about what’s on the menu. We’ll be back”
